Controller
As Engrain’s Controller, you will be accountable for the accounting operations of the company. This includes the maintenance of accounting records, the production of periodic financial reports and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company’s reporting financial results.

You Can Expect To:
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
- Process payroll in a timely manner
- Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations
- Maintain the Company’s chart of accounts
- Issue timely and complete financial statements to management, the Board, and investors
- Coordinate the preparation of the corporate quarterly and annual reports
- Cooperate in the production of the annual budget and forecasts
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- Maintain internal financial controls; recommend process/system improvements
- Develop/report on financial and operating benchmarks; recommend cost and operational improvements
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses as required
- Coordinate with external Company service providers (e.g., legal, tax, and accounting)
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
We Would Like:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA designation preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance, ideally in high-growth and/or technology companies
- A high degree of comfort with GAAP and financial reporting to management, boards of directors, external investors, and banks
- Experience managing accounting teams
- Comfort with a range of financial and business productivity software packages
- Experience in annual financial audits
