Engrain, the leader in interactive mapping technology and data visualization software, has announced its partnership with self-showing solutions pioneer Rently. The partnership will bring self-guided touring to prospective renters, allowing them to securely and independently view properties whenever it is most convenient for them — at any time and any day of the week.

Engrain’s popular TouchTour and SightMap applications will integrate with Rently’s self-showing solutions platform to showcase live pricing and unit availability, as well as an option for potential residents to apply directly online and in real-time.

At participating properties, prospective renters will be able to utilize Rently’s Lockboxes, Smart Locks and Smart Homes to tour apartments on their own schedule and completely autonomously. To streamline the autonomous tour, Engrain’s TouchTour compatible iPad application will guide apartment seekers around the home, and give them access to essential apartment details including floor plan, photos, specific amenities and more. Engrain’s SightMap application will simultaneously provide other essential information including unit availability and pricing.

For property managers, leasing teams and investment managers the partnership represents an opportunity to leverage technology for overall efficiency and bottom-line success. From streamlining building lease-up to minimizing expenses and time spent on guided tours, the partnership of these two technologies will elevate multiple aspects of the leasing process.
